Overview:
Tell stories that matter!

Pheasants Forever
and Quail Forever are seeking a talented visual storyteller who is passionate about creating compelling content that inspires support for our mission of upland habitat conservation. This position plays a vital role in documenting the people, landscapes, wildlife, and conservation efforts that define our mission and our motivations.

The Video Production Specialist creates engaging visual content for internal and external audiences, producing everything from cinematic documentaries and educational films to social media content and event coverage. This position offers unique opportunities to travel, work alongside conservation leaders and outdoor enthusiasts, and tell stories that contribute directly to habitat restoration and wildlife conservation efforts across the country.

Reporting to the Video Production Coordinator and working within the Marketing Team, this individual manages projects from concept through delivery while collaborating with staff, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and freelance contributors across the organization. Success in this role requires creativity, adaptability, strong communication, and the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work where conservation happens. Video Production Specialists regularly spend time with farmers, ranchers, wildlife biologists, conservation professionals, bird dog handlers, volunteers, and hunters across North America. Extended periods of field production are common, particularly during the fall and winter hunting seasons. From September through January, long days in the field and overnight travel should be expected as the team captures multiple feature projects while simultaneously producing and releasing content from previous seasons. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events is required.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
